I got these finished last night, can't wait to get them out to be found in the next day or two, I might wait until the weekend when I'm going over to Butler plaza and leave them all around there!

These I painted then used stickers that I found and wanted to try that way out.  It worked but the stickers don't stay completely flat but I used modge podge on them, then sprayed them also

These are all painted, I think I have fallen in love with the cats and I'm  going to try out different color cats, the Garfield is a special one for an old friend from ELEMENTARY school, yes we had them back in the Stone age 😂

Now off to paint for today's!
Xoxo
Ok well I was at my favorite breakfast place this am, and hid a few rocks around... Clues...

Fridays rocks

Well it's 5am Saturday morning and yes, I'm awake UGH.  But it does give me an early start on today's rocks 😁! But first I want to post yesterday's. And some secrets about a few that were hidden last night and this morning. First I have been wanting to do some colorful lady bugs and since I'm in love with this metallic paint I figured I'd do them that way, and of course I had to make them with a smile.

And here are the rocks I stamped first

And my favorite of the day...

Oops one last one... I'm working on my mandalas, I still need some practice to make them look like the ones on Pinterest

I love Rockin my city

Hi rockers,
I have fallen in love with rock painting. It can be very simple to extravagant paintings on your rocks.  The idea is to paint the rocks then hide them around your city or really anywhere you are going. You paint rocks with any kind of painting, saying or anything you choose, then leave them somewhere you think someone would find it.  Maybe a bully would find  one on his way to abuse someone they might think twice after seeing the rock.  Maybe someone is just having a bad day and your pretty painted rock will put a smile on their face, even if just for a few minutes, for that few minutes you made them smile.  Or a small child both painting their own rocks to hide or finding one that someone hid to make their day and we all know making a little kids day makes yours too! There is no wrong way to paint a rock, no age requirements and very little money. You can find rocks anywhere, use the kids paints etc.  If you want to purchase rocks I have found the best ones at home Depot, they are white so they are easier to cover and they are smooth and easy to paint on.  You can really use anything to decorate your rocks, I have added glitter, small embellishments I have found to decorate your nails, I have Rubber stamped rocks then painted them (usually with a toothpick) it's all fun!  You can do anything on your rocks cartoons, inspirational words etc.  Place them in parks, parking lots in the medians, however it is suggested that if you hide them in a business to ask first, and explain what you are doing... Spreading happiness and smiles. I have not been refused yet.

There are groups all over the world!  And you can tell everyone you are a member of a rock group. Ha ha sorry that was just my little try at humor.  Anyway I'm going to link my favorite rock groups here and the international group.  In the meantime check out some pictures of the rocks I painted, more to come almost daily!

As I stated to say earlier, I do buy my rocks, I am disabled so rock searching is not an option for me, so I buy a couple bags a month and I have been using Apple barrel paint from Walmart for 50¢, I also got a great deal at JoAnn fabrics they were on sale for 3/$1.00.  Then spray them front and back with a clear coat. I suggest you spray the backs first, I learned the hard way that spraying the fronts first might take some of your paint off when you turn them over. Like I said I have Rubber stamped some and free handed a bunch of them, what ever you like, there is no wrong way to do it.  Rocks painted by your little ones are very welcome too, I love seeing a child painted rock.  JUST BEWARE... IT IS VERY ADDICTING!!!  Now on to my pictures.

This is my first batch

And my second
